Icon3 yet another car won't start thread

The other day, I hit a bunch of snow and it got my CAI intake filter wet. (Booo)

Well, it died on me shortly after and we had to push it to my friends house.

I tried to see what was causing it to not start and so far I've done all these procedures:
take out spark plugs and cranked the car
replace the spark plugs with new ones
-
After I did that, the car did a LITTLE bit better and got closer to starting up.
I was actually able to start it up by advancing the dizzy all the way and pumping the gas pedal to get it to start. But when it DID start, it sounded like complete ****. It was like a push lawnmower. It ran just as bad too.
It'd idle for a little bit and die shortly after.

It backfired a lot too when I was trying to start it.
So I was convinced that the timing was the issue so I checked it out and saw that it was off a few teeth so I set everything to TDC and adjusted the cam gear.

I tried to fire it back up after that but nothing changed.
It didn't start, and it didn't backfire or anything.

I'm completely stumped as to why it won't start. Would anyone have any helpful ideas?

My dizzy seems fine, because I checked it and it was completely dry the same day this incident happened.
Oh, the engine is a d16z6 and the car is a 93 civic.

Given that the timing belt slipped, you should compression test the cylinders.

Yeah. I haven't done a compression test yet.
If it was hydrolocked, it shouldn't even crank.

So what IF my cylinders are fine?
What if they're bad?

What should I do?

Wrong.

All you should of done was took out your spark plugs, and somehow sucked/blew all the water out of the cylinders through the spark plug holes. Then took off the fuse for fuel and ignition and cranked the motor a few times. Then let the motor sit for a day with the plugs out, and then started it the next day. I have done this countless times on hondas and other imports.

Also, check the runners on intake and other intake parts for water 'pooling' there.

I've tried that, but I didn't take out the fuse.
I completely forgot.

Isn't it a 15A fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay?

I'll try this today.
