i got a jdm h22, the car ran fine before no problems, i decided it was time to do a tune up and that where the problems began. I replaced the spark plugs..then i did the distibutor cap, hook up all the wires correctly 1-3-4-2 and now wont start, i had to use a 90-91 accord distibutor cap, it looks the exact same i took it back to napa cuz the car wouldnt start they said there should be no problems...if i use this cap would i have to replace the rotor with a accord rotor??? I have no idea what is going on with my car..I then took the spark plugs out regapped them at 0.40 they were at 0.44 but the ones in it before were at 0.40. I noticed that only the spark plugs near the alternator had black on it on the others had lilttle if none. i would use my old cap for now but it got broke.

Yes JDM H22 being internal coil the 90-93 Accord Cap and Rotor is what you use. I believe you can also use the Accord 90-93 igniter and coil as well.

I would check to see if the coil or igniter needs to be replaced. Visibly if coil looks warped or has a black discoloration on either the top or bottom of it, most likely it's bad. But trouble shoot first between coil or igniter.

 

explict speed performance is where i got my motor mounts made at im pretty sure the kid i bought it from has your website posted on my Da teg. pretty cool, any ways ill try that out like i said car run fine except for when the check engine light would come on the car would bog out and hold back on power so i figured time to tune up. now that i tuned it up NO START imm check that out though. hey do you know if custom imports does good mechanic work? or any shops that do if Im going to have to take my car into a shop?
