hey,
ok heres the thing, i was driving home from work and all of a sudden my dash lights, parking light, and tail lights jus went out. and above that it doesnt even ding when the car is off and the switch is on the parking lights. i checked all the fuses the next morning and they all seemed fine. i have no idea what the probable cuase could be. does anyone know what could have happened and how to fix it. thnx

I have had this problem in my 4th gen for almost 2 years now and no one has any idea to fix it. there is probably a short somewhere, but at the same time this happened to me my DRL light came on, so im going to try and fix that. I just rigged them up to a switch because i got tired of getting pulled over, and people yelling out their window that my lights dont work.

 

You have a short somewhere. Same thing happen to me after i crashed my front end. my parking lights had a cut on them and i had them wired to my jdm side markers causing a short and burning fuses. double check ur fuses im sure one will burn out soon, if not then i dont know

well i got the thing fixed. I had a mechanic look at it and everything, he said that the problem was that the fuse box it self was bad. so i jus had him rig the the thing and got everything up and running

 

I had this problem two days ago on my 5th gen. turned out to be the "tail light" 15 amp fuse in the inside fuse box.
