timing belt cover

i need to find top dead center on the bottom crank. i cnt get the timing belt cover off. do u have to pull the crank pulley off in order to do so? and whats the easiest way to get it off?

Yes you do need to take the crank pully off. An impact did it for me on the first try. 19mm. Getting the cover down through the gap is kinda hard too, but it can be done...the radius rod get in the way big time

Yes, you have to remove the crank pulley. Get a Honda pulley removal tool ($30-35) and some 1/2" tools & breaker bars and it will be pretty easy. You can also use an impact if it is strong enough, but you need the tool to torque the pulley back on anyway...
You can also use the cam gears to find top dead center, no need to look at the crank pulley. Put a long something (screwdriver, piece of wire, etc) down into the #1 cylinder (remove the sparkplug first) and then rotate the engine until the object in the cylinder is at its highest point. The cam gears should then be lined up to TDC, or at least close enough for you to get it there by turning the crank a little bit more.

If the radius rod is getting in the way you can take the two bolts for the cross member out all the way and it will lower that side so you can get it out. i put a socket in between the cross member and frame to push it more down dont for more room, dont be scared though your engine will not fall out the front engine mount is still in and the other cross member bolts are still in.

yaa exactly, or wat I did was have someone put the car into 5th gear and hold the brakes and I torqued it down
