Car wont go in gear.
I have not had any problems at all. The clutch has not slipped once. I was on the highway today, and when i attempted to shift from 3rd to 4th, the pedal stuck to th floor and it would not go into gear. after about three or four attempts i finally got it in gear. once i got off the highway, i was at a redlight and when attempting to put it in gear the car would just roll forward and stall. there was never any slipping or loss of power, it was a sudden thing? i am confused to what it could be. it was the first time i had the car out in about 2 or 3 weeks. i am thinking possible master and/or slave went bad idk? any ideas?
A few things to look for:
1. Look under the dash where you clutch pedal is. See fluid? Does it smell like brake fluid? If not then look elsewhere. If so, you need to replace your clutch master cylinder
2. Look at, on and around your slave cylinder. Refer to option 1 for instructions.
3. Have you bled your clutch lines recently?
4. If none of the above seems to be the answer. Then you need a new clutch kit. Maybe not the clutch disc is bad, but youre pressure plate springs are giving up and are binding causing your clutch to be constantly engaged.
Hope this helps. If you need more help be sure to ask

by the way i bought the cylinders on ebay for like $60. they work fine so far and looked quality, but ask me in a year i might change my idea whether it was a good buy or not..haha

id have changed them for a case of beer and price for parts. then id have 22.5 beers to take home after i spent the hour changing them. man, you should splurge 20 bucks on a manual, it will save you hundreds down the road (in this case about 600 bucks)
i would have done it myself and as you can read my diagnoses was correct from getgo, its just that i did not have tools, parts, or a place to put the car and i was about 50miles from my home. i am not about to leave a kswap eg on the side of the roaad for any period of time...
How much of that was for the tow/parts/labor? I am not familiar with a K-swap EG but I do know that it shouldn't have been that expensive. If the tow wasn't free get AAA. It's pretty cheap and the basic plan gives you 3 miles free towing.
tow was 55$ I am going to get a breakdown of "their" charges tomorrow. I was just on honda.com parts store. the master was 124.09 and the slave was 80.23... 225 for parts! so parts plus tow is 280$...400 for labor and tax...
