Car Dying while Driving but only at low rpms? now it won't start!!?!?

I have a 1994 Honda Civic EX 1.6 Vtec....... I was driving the car and it was fine.... now I go to start it again and it won't start..... I figured I could jump it and it would be ok cause it was VERY cold here! I jumped it and it started without a problem.... I drove it home! While driving it home when i would drop into lower Rpms It would die like it was not running out of Battery.... so I got it home finially and replaced the alternator!!! My battery cable was all kinds of old so i descided to replace that too! Now I attempted to jump my car and all the lights and everything turns on and the heater turns on but I get nothing! I thought maybe starter but I just replaced it last summer! it don't make noises or anything! I don't know what is going on here so I figured i would ask some others for advice!!! HELP PLEASE
