Default JDM D15B question

sup guys, i was wondering if USDM d15b7 5 speed tranny will fit in a JDM D15B v-tech motor. i'm on my phone so the searching feature is very slow. what else will i need in order to make it work? if anybody know, please let me know. thx

yea it will work ... as long as your car isn't a cable clutch, then you should be fine..

yes if you want vtec, unless your car is already wire up for vtec... and you have a vtec ecu...

You may want to consider buying the JDM D15B transmission with the engine, just for the shorter gearing. But the B7 transmission will work if you are just an A to B driver...but if that's the case, why not just get the D15B non-VTEC engine to save some money?

/\/\ i may wanna go that route of buying the d15b tranny. do u know how much do they usually run for? i found a place that charges $250. is that a good price?
