i just swapped a ZC single cam V-tec in my EK
my car idles all weird when i first turn it on.
the bottom end of the motor doesnt shake at all, yet the top head proportion shakes alot when idle. i tried adjusting the distributor up and down/ retard mode etc. and it still doesnt fixes its problem. i never touched the timing belt or adjusting it or whatsoever.
my car also revs at 200-500 at idle too. even when warm.
what could it be?
i thought it would be my problem of the dizzy, because i took out the dizzy and change the cap and rotor. (which i shouldnt have)
any help gladly appreciated. *thumbs up*

the head is shaking?? wtf... i said that is a F*** up motor... now if u are refering to valve clicking then that will sound better... adjust your idle by the TB with a flat head and see if that fix your problem...

no the air temp sensor wouldn't be the problem, but you should plug it in, the idle adjuster is on the Throttle Body on the intake manifold.... should be next to the map sensor...
