Default Changing dash lights in 92 civic to blue

I saw this write up:

http://www.emotors.ca/Articles/116.aspx

and it looks good, and seems easy to do. But I want blue lights. where can I buy some blue LED's?

That does look easy, but you would think that eventually the paint would burn off... Eh, maybe not...

I think your best bet would be to do the LED suggestion but the blue paint might work it will just be a pale blue

yeah at the website mentioned above, they have a good selection of different LED bulbs in both sizes for the 92-95 civics, #24's and 74's

its under the section where the #74's are. about halfway down the page. it doesnt say the 24's are listed in that category from the front page but it says something like "if this is too big, blah blah the #24's are a perfect fit." they are .99 cents each for the #74's and 24's

Your right I didnt see that. I will probably order 5 24's and 3 74's for my 1 civic, see how it turns out and then do accordingly to my other civic. $12 bucks or so, eh ill give it a shot.

im going to start with a set of the regular cheap ones, just to see how cheap they really are. a set of the LED's is gonna be like $33-34 with shipping, the regulars are $12-13. Its not very complicated to install so eh well see what happens.

Okay It took me about an hour to do, 2 of my new blue bulbs were bad, so I had to take the bitch out again. Good thing I didnt mount it back in when I reconnected it.

All I can say is it looks 1,000,0000 better than that stock white crap. I havnt done the rear defroster or HEAT/AC unit yet, just the dash lights......soooo nice. Ill take pics and show you all later on either today or tomorrow. It was like $13 to do. I didnt even have to paint anything.
