What are your thoughts about buying used pistons and rods...? I'm looking at some right now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Used for 3 months...and it's listed as the rods needs screws.

i wouldnt buy anything without pictures of the item. make sure they are in good condition and didnt undergo detonation. make sure to buy new piston rings also. when you get new rod bolts, go for ARP ones.

I wouldnt mess with it. Pistons could be wack. Id say its ok for the rods most likely...but not with him listing they need new bolts. Id stay away if I were you. If you gonna spend the time and money, do it with parts you know are good.
