Are being thrown on my car. I had a B16A2 in the car, motor mount failed and I ended up putting a B16A block back in, nothing has changed other wise.
Vtec engaged fine before the swap of the bottom ends, I took apart the solenoid cleaned the screens, Oil is at the appropriate level, Connections are fine and I am stumped.
The only difference in actual performance of said vehicle is that Vtec will not engage and my Redline is now 6500 instead of the regular 8 or 8200, I forget what it is.
It was suggested that my Vtec solenoid and pressure switch plugs were mixed up, but I cannot seem to find a picture to help me look for that problem.....
Other then that everything else seems fine, but I am just stumped and I could use some help.

your vtec solenoid plug and pressure switch plug can't be mixed up with one another.. they have 2 totally different plugs.. but it sounds like you have a wire that is messed up somewhere.. What year is your car?? is it a 92-95 or 96-00??

92-95
found 2 plugs that might be swapped around, disconnected the battery about 5 mins ago, gonna eat some grub, hook it back up and see what happens.

cool, if it is the Vtec Oil Pressure Switch, then there is a bypass you can do to where you don't have to get another one to put in it... I have a diagram I can give you if you need it....
