Last week I realized my car was leaking oil out around the distributor,
Since the weather is pretty fair today 62º I decided to inspect it and replace if needed.. Do I remove the 3 bolts and it slide right out or do I need to remove the dizzy mount as well.. thx

 

you'll have to remove your dizzy from the head to do this so yes, take off the 3 bolts that hold it onto the head and unplug all the plugs.

take off the old o-ring, and replace it with a new one.

Hope u get ur timing back right if u didnt draw a straight line across from the dizzy to the head (top Bolt part)

 

i know how to set ignition timing i'll probably advance it a bit after i replace it.
