Default high compression + boost

hi there i noe that high compression + boost isnt a good thing but i was looking at these pistons http://www.ariaspistons.com/products/acurahonda.html for my d16 build and they are selling 11.5 Cr pistons and say its for turbo/n2o just wondering ur thoughts on this, and has anyone boosted anything with such high CR.

its just a selling gimmic, sure they could be used with boost/nitrous but its very unpractical at compression that high. Technically you can run boost with any compression but you have to have octane high enough to support it, which isnt available a lot of the times so thats why 8.0:1-9.0:1 is generally the more accepted compression for boost because you use pump gas easily with that and a good tune. If you're wanting to boost your d cheap then look into a vitara setup, you can check the one in my sig i done for more info on it

Sleeving usually costs around 1100, they can bored out a certain amount which is usually a few mm so thats no problem. But theres guys that are hitting 400hp without sleeves in d series
