Default Getting a type r VERY soon...

hey whats up guys...i dont really post here but ive been on here for a while just doing alot of research and looking around at the cars...well right now im in a lease i currently have a 2006 g35 coupe and the lease is up in augest which i hope i could get out a few months earlier...im going to def be getting into a PY integra type r.....before i had the g35 i owned a 2005 aspen white sti which i miss sooo much but at this point i want to get into something a little cheaper (i only plan on spending the most is 17 k on the type r)...hopefully i could find a low mileaged one with fresh paint and mint interior...i use to autocross and track my sti alot ..i miss those days and thought i moved on but never did....im just a little hesitant because im down in north jersey and stolen cars always happen out here..but im still going to purchase one....just looking foward and wanted to say whats up to everyone...

If you do get into a PY make sure to purchase a beater and have a garage!!! The first thing you need to think about getting is security. Ill be the first one here to tell you that my car was recovred the same night with the theif in it! You can search for my post if you like. Other than that hope everything works out well with finding a clean R as hey are becomming harder to find. Youll prolly be able to find more Rs for sale during the summer months.Gluck

if you think that way then your type-r will be gone for sure, it's just a matter of when

Is the R going to be your only car....a daily driver?

Also, you may be a bit dissapointed going from a g35 to a Type R. The luxury factor is not gonna be there.

Your old sti is beautiful! I had a black '05 sti and loved it. It was the funnest car ever in the winter!! If I get another sti, it will be white like yours. Good luck on the ITR find.

Yep.

I sure hope you have a garage and don't plan on using it as a DD in NJ. If you want to DD one, then please get a beat up high mileage one to throw to the wolves....not a low mileage mint one. Not if, but when...

believe me, not having luxery will be quickly made up by the motor and handling. You wont be dissapointed with a type r, my friend has a 2007 stage 2 STI, and i would choose to own my type r over his STI anyday. Handling on the type r is a lot better, the only thing you might miss is tourque. Keep her safe...

Trust me you will love the ITR, to this day i still remember fondly of the times we had together(until i got rear ended by some out of towner in a rental!). I bought a 6 speed G35...sure it was pimp the first year i had it, but i always thought about my ITR. I thought of it so much i started to hate my G and sold it for the next best thing to an ITR.....the S2K!
