Hey where r u all hooking the straps, chains and binders to when ur car is on the trailer if u have traction bars with no tow hooks. Thanks
Something like this. Ryan like the ones with the sleeves over them. There about $7.50

easternmarine.com is another place I've found that has some good pricing.
If this is your first time doing this. Go to a local trailer place and see what they recommend. They know what will work. Also I believe some states have laws that you need to be aware of.
This is one area you want to be safe in. If you go cheap and something breaks and the car
moves and gets damaged, how much did you save?
We use crossed ratchet straps to hold the rear down, and 1/2 chains with adjustable pins and quick lease pins for adjustment on the front. I'll see if I can find a photo.

Not very good but:

These rear straps wrap around the LCA and hook back to themselves. I can kind of see that under the car.

i watched this show on TV once about how they transported all the zillion dollar rare exotic cars. if the car did not have open wheels on it, they would put a set on temporarily just so they could strap the cars down going through the wheels. they wanted the cars suspension to still be able to function like normal. makes sense.

we have a custom built traction bar on the our car -- tow hooks of course were added as a neccessity to strap the car down -- makes it a lot easier for the front
for the rear we strap to the LCA's
people used to ask us all the time how streetable the Strange Double Adjustable coilovers are -- with the car riding in the trailer they are taking a beating so I would guess ours have about 50k miles on them and are still holding up great

so when i strap the car down with the lca's don't make them crazy tight. should i tighten it all the wayuntil the car wont move and then a extra pull on each. I do tow demo derby car alot because its the other hobby i have but i strap or chain cars down for that and i use the frame or rear and squat the suspension as much as i can because thats what i was told by people to do and the cars going to be trashed in less then 30 minutes in a heat anyway. For the ones using axle straps around the traction bars arn't u worried about the bars breaking and ur car possibly going off the trailer. Thanks
Three ways of looking at the where to pull from;
tie the frame down like you would a box box and the trailers suspension carries the wieght.
tie the car from the the LCA's and the cars suspension carrys the car.
Use some of both and the load is slpit betwen the car and trailer.
IMO what ever works for you is the way to go. If there is a major problem with either way of doing it, there would be a federal law stating how to do it.
