How long have you been running them at your power level? and how many miles are on the block?

Idk if you will still count this, my previous setup that came to an end due to spun rod bearing was stock sleeved 81.mm gsr, the motor lasted 41k made 440whp daily on pump and made 535 on racegas.... the motor was beat severely daily lol...

My motor had 70,000ish miles on it initially when my cousin had it. He did a small setup, got a bad tune, blew the ringlands on the stock pistons. Him and I rebuilt it with CP pistons/Eagle rods, completely redid the turbo setup made about 400whp on stock sleeves, then the next year turned it up a little more and increased the rev limit to 9k and made 450whp on stock sleeves, then this last year turned it up a little more and made 500ish whp, and now the car is sitting right around the 100k mile mark. Just tore it down before winter to check things out and it looks minty fresh inside, sorta wish I hadn't taken it apart.

All in all ~30k miles on a pistons/rods/stock sleeves b16 with power levels ranging from 4-500whp.

Anyone can make a glory run on the dyno and make 500, even 600+ but that doesn't really tell you what stock sleeves can handle. I expect a lot of 400hp guys to come out saying they have been making than for a year or 2. but hoping to see guys with over 550 saying the same.. actually racing and daily driving the car will tell what they can handle. Im not convinced my single dyno runs.

I've been right around 370-375 since June. Have probably put 7000 miles and 20~ passes on at the track. I'm on stock internals though, so I've taken it pretty easy for the love of my pistons.

I put 12k miles on mine between 400-500hp then pop'd a drag radial and wrecked the car, motor is just sitting now almost ready to go back in a new lighter shell with plans on pushing its limits even further.

Hopefully more people with higher horsepower LS/vtec chime in (450-500whp). I'm almost done with my build and would like to know what thier experiance with them is with high horsepower and revs on stock sleeves.

Using stock sleeves my B series 400+ is driven to the track, raced, and driven home.

I never used it as a daily however and was tuned on 110 octane.
