i was thinking it was the battery terminals loose or something but their good, i was thinking the alt. was shot for somereason no, it started pouring rain so i called it a day

looks like the alternators internal voltage regular took a *hit on ya.

you need an alternator (though you could replace just the regulator/rectifier ***'m)

 

got it out of the rain and in a garage the alt. ground came loose and fried and broke ,

lucky for me i have all my old stuff laying around my garage in various places
Dc wiring harness it is!

seperated the solid wire

disconnected old alt. cable from fuse box in the engine bay ( top wire one that doesnt go to the battery .. )

connected and started up perfectly no red battery light in dash id say im good to go! total cost = 30 mins. :D

 

i was going to say to check the ground and power wire, but i figured nahh i'm sure the wires are fine, how often do they actually go bad? well apparently more often than i thought. go figure lol. good to see you got it fixed, and for cheap!

 

nice, that is the power wire though, it is grounded through the housing.
