Default Axle problem!!!

Hello all...I got a 95 civic that has a bad axle vibration absorber thing. Its the round rubber thing that sits in the middle of the driver side axle! It came loose and is now deformed and rubbing against the chassis. I was wondering if i can remove it without taking out the axle?? Is it safe to run the car without it??

You need a new axle. I think thats a weight to keep it balanced.

Yes, remove it from both axles. Most new axles don't have them and I don't know of anyone who had a problem running with axles without the donuts.
