Hey guys, i just put a new Intake Manifold, and 70mm Omni TB on my car today. It starts up fine and great, however when you hit the gas it stumbles and almost dies Almost like choking and recovers. A few things is New Crane Igntion system 6S box with high Coil, and new Dizzy. Car idles Perfectly fine, Only when i hit the gas probelms come up. Please help i have no car right now ):

 

sounds like mabey the tb may be to big for your application

 

MAP and TPS sensors hooked up backwards, ignition system installed incorrectly or bad wiring....those are my guesses.

 

Ignition system is brand new crane cams Ignition box with coil, Sure thats ok, i will check the sensors tomarrow its now dark. I will also check the wiring.
Now it will not go past 3,500 rpms without seurging up and down up and down. Like Rrrr, RRR, rrrr, almost like its a air issue or some sort.

 

I'm thinking your tb is too big for your setup. Try like a 68. Or maybe get one hella of a tune for it

 

what i.m are you using? im guessing it could be your tps wired wrong. or a vacume leak.. my sk2 pro series i.m has a nipple on the back end on the right and if it's not pluged the car wont drive right and it idles bad. good luck.

 

did u ever find out what it waas i have a similar issue man but now car wont even start ive checked evrything sparks there fuels tehere checked the ecu and cat they are fine. im lost. let me know what u found mabe we havew simlar problems

 

Yup after many days of being pissed the &*($ off it was the map sensor and TB sensor Switched. XD

nice. thats exactly what everyone seems to do when they change out the intake and throttle body. ive personally seen three people with the same problem and thats what fixed it. gl with the car

 

check your pcv

 

i say check if u connected ur iacv... cause that's how the engine behaves with iacv unplugged
