00' ex shuts off when gas is let off! PLZ HELP!
alright, thanks for reading first off
i just picked up this 00 ek ex had a bad block. so i took it out and through a new bottom in on. cranked it up and everything is fine while it was cold... When the engine warms up, and you rev it up a little then let off the gas, RPMS will fall and then car will shut off..
I thought it could be Idle control valve related, so i cleaned it out with brake clean and also cleaned the throttle body.. Same issue
I heard it could be related to some sensor that controls the idle, maybe something that attaches to the throttle body... ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
