Throttle Position sensor, Random misfire in cylinders, Help?
Ok so I drive a '00 civic Ex [ automatic ]
But here's the thing my idle is has been acting up ALOT. or rather acting down. At stop lights and what not the idle is at 500 or less. I've actually had the engine shut off a few times. An Automatic stall? O_O anyways the CEL is throwin a 7, 71,72,73,74.
I know the 7 is the throttle position sensor
and the 70's are random mistfires in the cylinder.
I was thinking about adjusting the Idle screw. but could it be that i just need a tune up?

IT SOUNDS LIKE TO ME U HAVE A PROBLEM WITH VOLTAGE COMING FROM THE TPS, I WOULD GET A VOLT METER AND CHECK IT. IT SHOULD BE ABOUT 0.45 AT IDLE AND GO UP TO ABOUT 4 OR 5 DURING ACCELERATION
