Default what size in line resistors for 780cc precisions.

what size in line resistors do i need for my 780cc precision injectors. I want to do this because it will be a pain in my but to wire in the oem resistor box to my 89 std the way its been wired. Also can i put the resistors near the ecu in the car to keep them away from the heat. Which ones r u using and can u post a link for me. Give me ur opinions. Thanks

10w 10ohm.
you do relize they are about hte size of half a pencil. and they are going to create heat. you can wire them inline, i think it would be a little easier to wire the box in like it should.

first off whats the resistence across the injectors? and what ecu are you using?

iill be using a chipped p06 converted to p28 on neptune. i dont know the resistance across the injectors.

I had resistors wired in line with my old dsm bluetops and yeah they were about the size of my thumb (each one). never had any problems with heat or vibration and I had them wired up right underneath the fuel rail. it looked awful but it got the job done for a budget build (i think they were like 1.59$ for 2). make sure they have a good solder joint, because you dont want to have fuel issues while under boost. cant remember the part numbers though

you need to know that first. unless you know that they are saturated or peak and hold.

saturated injectors need no resistor box.
saturated = 12-13 ohms
peak and hold = 2-3 ohms and need a resistor box.

i know they r peak and hold 780cc from presicion. I found out they ar 2 ohm resistance.
