Need help with obd1 b18a1 idle
Whats up ht. So, I been having problems with idle and timing i guess. I have a 89 dx hatch, converted to obd1. Had a b20 in it, ran and idled fine.
The government finally caught up with me and sent me to Ref again. So I sold the b20, got the b18a1 from a DA at pick n pull and swapped it in.
Once I fired it up, I get a idle of 2,200rpm @ cold, let it warm up and idle went down to 1,500rpm ( warmed up ).
I already did these things.
-bled coolant system
-checked for any leaks @ TB, intake mani, pcv box
-cleaned out iacv
-cleaned out fitv and screwed the white piece all the way down w/threadlock
-checked timing, everything is on point
After all this, I still didn't solve my problem. Please help me out, I'm on a dead line =\
Using a pr4 Ecu now, tried a p75 and p06, no luck also!

vacuum leak, there are some vacuum leaks that will cause you to idle lower and some that will cause you to idle higher, check the **** out. and btw did you adjust the screw ALL THE WAY to the right? like close the ****?? it should turn off when you do because the idle will go that low plus you won't be sucking in any air but try that and work back to opening it again until u can find base idle try it with the iacv disconnected and connected
