94 b18b1 in a 95 civic

hey i am wondering while i am rebuilding my engine..... i noticed this on the back of the block.... it looked as if it had coolant lines run to it......

when i re install the motor do i need this or can i just find a plug and seal off the block......?? i have no idea what it is used for....?

that is for your PVC plug...its used to suck out the by-pass gases inside your crankcase and redirect it to your Intake manifold to b reburned again

 

ah there ya go.... i always messed with PVC's that are built in the valve cover.... sorry honda's to a T are new to me....

ok.... so put that on the list of things i need to put back....... ... is coolant suppose to run through one of the lines going to it..... seems to me it shouldnt be. not the line runing from the top of the intake to it but the line that you see pictured runs to the back of the block to a coolant jacket.....???

no coolant, just oil goes through it..
