Default F22B2 Head Swap?

Right now I have a F22B non-VTEC engine in my 97 accord LX.

My plans are to do a VTEC conversion, but I'm having trouble finding a VTEC head to swap. I read that the H23 heads are direct bolt on, but I was having trouble finding any to purchase.

Would anyone have any ideas where to look? I'm in Washington state right now, but would be willing to travel (within reason) if I found the piece I was looking for...

Thanks!

An H23 is non VTEC... What you are looking for is ether an F22B1 SOHC VTEC or an H22 DOHC VTEC. Probably going to be a wee bit harder to find an H22 head just lying around though. Try your local junk yards. Some junk yards use parts locating websites that can locate a specific part. If they don't have it themselves, they should be able to find one for you. Now if all you have around you is ma & pa junk yards with no Honda's then you could be SOL.

Or you could try the market place/for sale, looking to buy forums
