I have a b20b with a LS head. and a b16 tranny. its my new setup in my ek. but i dont know what LS means. what are LS heads off of? and whats it stand for. and my friend said that its a pretty good setup. is this true?

 

Integra ls and its dohc but not vtec so if thats what u want

i heard it flows better than a b20 head, but who knows...they look the same, i guess it's just the camshafts that are different in the two heads. but that is a pretty good n/a setup.

B18B1 head.

I dont think putting on a LS head is a super common setup dont even think i recall hearing about one , most put a b18c or b16a head on B20s .

I think the LS and B20 heads are the same. But I think the cams are different. I know the intake mani is different.

Yes. My buddy Gabe had the same setup but with an ITR tranny and it was a torque monster. It'll snap your neck back when you mash the gas.

 

yeah. i thought it was just a full b20b but someone pointed out to me that the valvecover had the vacum port on the back side... which is how the LS is suposedly. so he said its an LS head. and it is really fast. not going to lie.
