i wanted to do a stock turbo also but everybody kept telling me i have to do motor work cuz the motor wont handle the turbo or somthing bout ill get better hp i forgot but i neva got to do it, so i wonder also if it can be done without doin any harm to a stock motor also
yeah dont turbo stock engine... do some internals first... and when your building internals you'll gain more horses that way and your turbo will be more beneficial
You guys know all of this info is on the SAME website you are on? What engine do you have and that will determine how much HP your car can take before blowing, assuming with a good tune and healthy motor.
Go do a compression/leakdown test figure out what motor you have and go take a look at the faq in the FI section.
Tons of people have turboed stock motors, and of course built is always better but you can def do it on healthy stock parts.

if u have a b18 i know u can turbo it just run low boost everyone is gonna say u have to build it but if u r running low boost dont worry bout it put rod bolts in or somthing its pretty easy but keep it under like 8 or so psi
