Default Auto to Manual but not with stock engine!

I just picked up a cheap auto 98 hatch and I plan on doing a swap but with the car being an auto what will I need to put a 5 speed in and if and when I decide to do the swap what will work? if theres a link I can go to with the much needed info please post it or if anyone has done a swap like this...thanks

You'd need an automatic to manual mount on the transmission side, which Hasport makes one. Other than that...all of your lines, clutch pedal assembly, master cylinder, etc.

Search for "Auto to Manual swap" and there should be several write-up's so you can see what you're getting into.

Not with the '96 - '00 civics, everything is simply a bolt on affair. You do need the mount, or will have to cut and weld on the '92 - '95s though.

My mistake...thanks for the correction. I assumed they were all the same chassis practically.
