How to check a (check engine) light on a obd1 crx

Default How to check a (check engine) light on a obd1 crx

hey guys i am having a little speed bump with my crx, i have a jdm d15b vtec, with a jumper harness with a p28 ecu, is there a way to check the check engine lights out, any info back would be great thanks

if your car is an 88-89 there should be a prong plug that goes nowhere on your driverside shock tower. jump the connector and your cel on the gauge cluster will flash your codes. if its a 90-91 then the same plug can be found at the bottom right side of your glovebox. i believe you can also jump two wires on your ecu jumper harness and it should start spillin codes. not all harnesses have these 2 wires though.

IF YOU DID THE RYWIRE, it has a toggle switch wired in. If you get a light flip the switch and Voila!
