Default Whats rods do I need to use to pu CTR pistons in my B18C5?

EMERGENCY..
What Rods will fit CTR pistons into my Type R? The CTR Rods are .001 of an inch to wide and were sending the Pistons & Rods to the shop tomorrow to have the CTR pistons put on the ITR rods but will this even work??
Please let me know ASAP?

He is absolutely sure, as am I.

You only need to modify the CTR pistons if you are putting them onto non type r rods.

C5 with CTR pistons

wont your comp be a little high? What cams are you going to use? Piston/Valve clearance w/ say JUN 3's...........would the CTR's have enough room?

I was thinking B16a pistons for my R motor and that was a little over 11.5:1
B16B pistons would have a C5 well over 12:1 maybe even 12.5:1

Pump gas friendly? More info on your setup would be nice...........maybe post a dyno of before and after your new pistons

Hey,
Actualy were using a B16A head with a Port and Polish Stage 3. Were running all CTR Valvetrain and CTR Pistons on ITR Rods. Using Bojas Calculator our Compression is 12.1:1. At least 94 Octane Gas will suffice, but to be extra safe just get the additives.....

Use the specs from a 73 Chevy 454 BB. I can't remember off the top of my head but I believe it's around 70lbs/ft.

12:1 assuming no material taken off the head/block and using stock 3 layer gasket. Replace gasket with 2 layer, and your upto 12.4:1.
