Did you use the clutch plate alignment tool to align the clutch properly when installing?

i topped it off wit 2 quirt already...and i did use the alignment tool....i adjusted the clutch cable and still no good..for some reason im thinking its the pressure plate, the tranny did fall while trying to put in back in...i neverd checked did the tranny shaft hit the PP....damnn
nah i dont think its my syncro, before i started to work on it, it came with a slipping clutch, bad axles and bad rotors...but it shifted into gear like nomal except for thrid gear it would make that quick grind noise itf i shift into 3rd fast....
frist off DA car cable tranny and not hydro. so its not that and 2nd if the clutch was not align right the tranny will not go in or mate wit the block so is not that either.so there for if you adjust the cable line and its still doing the same thing then. it's your throw out bearing i'm 110% that that the issuse.
either your cable snapped or the little adjuster piece snapped, or it could be your throw out bearing/ fork release spring. one of the forks on the spring broke and It caused my throw out bearing to fry.check out g2ic.com if your not on it, its a DA forum with lots of info.
good news!! i found out the problem, well all i did was not push the clutch down all the way and i can shift into my gears.but why is it like that? when i push the clutch pedal all the way down i cant shift and it makes that whining sound.... only when i push the clutch pedal about half way i can shift with no problem...so i lossen the clutch cable, imma adjust it when i get off work tommorrow.....thx for all the imput
