OK. I just bought a 1990 Honda Accord LX 2 dr. It runs a little rough at idle and then sputters through about 2500 RPM and then smooths oout and winds up like every other honda ive owned. I know that the previous owner had just replaced the plugs and plug wires.

Please help I would like to fix this car.

 

see in the FAQ on cleaning the EGR passages throttle body and IACV. If you wanna try an easy fix, get a can of seafoam deep creep and follow the instructions on the can. Use the vac line for the PCV valve and the one for the brake booster and spray right into where the air intake tube goes on the throttle body and clean that throttle plate up nice. youll see a passage in there too, spray that right out and then take it for a ride. It may skip\pop\smoke alot but its burning out all the carbon and crap from your manifold thats ok
