i searched nothing found that would solve my problem.
so here the problem
99 civic ex with b16a2 i brought it like that all stock. motor run good but when the check engine light came on the car idle really low and sometime die out if im at a stop light. I reset the ecu and the check engine light dosen't come on right away i can drive for about 100-300miles before check engine light turn on again. once light turn on motor idle bad. what i did so far.
new dizzy
cap n rota
swap out the injector
even the fuel rail
new wires
and new primary o2 sensor.
still the light come on.
i was looking under the car the other day and it look like i only have 1 o2sensor hooked up i dont have a seconday 02 sensor would this be the problem?
help please!!!

if my map sensor was bad wouldnt my car run like ****.?

 

The secondary O2 should be on the cat, facing up. It isn't visible if the car is on the ground and you're just looking under it. If it's missing completely, I'm surprised you aren't throwing the code more often, unless you have a chipped obd1 ecu.

 

i looked when i change the primary o2 sensor. there is no secondary o2, and no i dont have a chip ecu. motor is all stock.
