Default d-series ac on b-series motor?

it's a 93 civic with a d15b7 has ac and power steering.

i'm swapping in a b16a what do i need to do to keep the power steering and ac?

i also want to keep the ac compressor that on the car right now?

are there any oem brackets i can use?(delsol vtech "b16a3" usdm)

or do i have to use the aftermarket kits?

if so does the aftermarket kit accept the stock compressor?

thanks ahead of time any help is greatly appreciated.

Because I have a similar situation. Why else?

Not all 1993 Civic's have R134a. R12 supposedly works better? And let's say that the A/C from the D-series works just fine. Why bother opening the system if you can't buy R12?

No '93 civic came with an R134a A/C system. ('92 - 93 = R12, '94 - '95 = R134a) In any case simply use the brackets from a '94 - '97 Del Sol Vtec to make the whole thing a complete plug and play bolt on affair.

You can, and I used to mention it a lot when these types of questions came up because its cheaper than the Del Sol bracket. however there is some confusion about using a CR-V bracket to retain power steering which is why I rarely mention it now, it does however definately work for retaining A/C, and the Del Sol bracket definately works for both.

"From 1994-present, all a/c is r134a. 1993 and below is all r12. However, apparently SOME 1993 are r134a, according to feedback from some users."
Why I brought up the r134a in the first place... *shrugs*

So Del Sol VTEC (B16) brackets are the best/easiest to use? I'd also like to keep power steering.

Thanks!

On that note I have a TSB that titled "1994 A/C kit fits 1992-93 civic" which describes exactly that, the only extra thing you need is a '94 - '95 heater subharness (only about 2 - 3 feet long).

Yes, and they work for both A/C and power steering

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't.
