Default help.....my block is leaking

well i was changing my oil yesterday on my civic( its a 00Si with a B18c1~boosted). I have alotta oil around my oil pan and it is driping from there and around there. Im also starting to have a oil leak from were the dipstick is connected to the block. --Im more concerned about this--

I tightend the bolts around the oil pan to see if this will work out. My car is lowerd to so it might be hitting bumps.
I no its normal for civics to leak or burn oil but is this problem normal??
please help
thanks

You might need a new oil pan gasket!

Probably just need to replace the oil pan gasket. I have a 99 Si and mine started to leak around 135,000 miles...

sounds like an oil pan gasket. Unless there is oil all over the tranny too. Then it could be the rear main seal.

there is some oil on the side of the tranny closest to the exhaust. Gears shft smooth and everything. New ACT clutch about 10K miles ago. But it could be oil blowin on the tranny(since it blows back on the exhaust and everything else). Im hoping its not the rear main seal that would cost some money.

What could be the cause the leak around the dipstick?? and could this end up being a serious problem. Yes im goin to get it fixed im just waiting on a job as of right now to get money

yea that could cause it.

The rear main seal is not that hard. YOu have to take the tranny off and the flywheel off. And its behind there.

Do you have a breather can setup? It could also be a combination of a rear main seal and a crank seal. Or maybe just a new oil pan gasket. I would suggest getting a good breather can setup and changing the oil pan gasket.

You might need a setup like this.
It will prevent crankcase pressure buildup.
