Default Malfunction Indicator Light

I was out on the track today, great day for the first couple of hours, then at the beginning of hour 3, after a couple of laps, this light came on. I saw the exact moment, and in fact, it happened as I was shifting from 3-4, there was a brief hesitation, and then the light was on. This is the light to the lower left of the oil pressure light.

The description on the manual says this indicates some sort of an emission problem with the engine, and the dealer should see it right away. I am having it checked tomorrow, my question to the board is, has this happened to anyone else? I wish there was more detailed info on what might be wrong. I drove back home after that, and the 30 minute drive was nice, smooth, as if nothing has happened. No engine, tranny, or gearbox problems to note. I hope this is nothing serious. So far, with 30+ track days, the car has held up like a rock.

Yeah, clearly that wasn't the problem. I also took three separate "driving trips" for the light to go away, but it's still there. We'll see today what happens.

Whew, it was only that the oil level was too low and the dealership topped it off and I am set to go. Why would the check engine light come on if the oil level is low? That'll teach me to check my oil very regularly from now on.
