alright guys i have a obd1 92 integra and im swaping my b16a2 00si motor into it....i wacthed the person i bought it from pull the motor and it came out of a 94 4dr cvic and he said all the sensors were obd1 the dizzy is converted the motor is in the car and im having a few isssues

1.the map sensor from the LS is on the firewall and the b16's is on the thorttle body??what do i do?

2.some of the supposed to be obd1 enigine harness plug right in to the cars exsiting harness with no effort but some dont only one on the drivers side and one on the passenger side.....is it not obd1?

3.If it were obd2 how hard is it going to be to make it work in my car?

4.how do you tell obd1 plugs from obd2? color size....they look like the will fit but the engine harness plugs are a lil big?


please help guys i searched but didnt find the answer to these ?'s also if anyone has experiece with this swap or any help it would be greatly aprreciated

plug in everything you can, you will need a obd1 vtec ecu and need to "wire vtec" google can help you with that.

 

what engine harness are you using the civic harness or your integra harness?

 

1. you can use either map sensor, doesnt matter . you can use the TB mounted one, just remove the LS one.

2. Use your 92 integra harness. its obd1 already. then run the vtec wires to the ecu.

3. if everything is obd2, it wont be hard. use your injectors, get an obd1 vtec distributer ( 95 gsr, 95 del sol vtec), use your alternator or rewire your harness for obd2 alternator plug. Also, 99-00 si dont have IAT mounted sensors, so use the one from your LS and run a vacuum source right to the sensor itself. thats all i can think of at the time. i'll add if i can think of anything.

4. Color and size plugs are different in obd1 to obd2 and also in obd2 civic and integras are different ( one piece harness vs. 2 piece)

k well im going to just plug up as much as i can then see what happens im using my ls integra harness already on the car and the plugs are both round and square color all seem to be gray what would the obd2 plugs look like ill wire vtec and extend the wires for the map sensor and let you guys know again thanks for the help it was a civic LX and the guy wont car or pm me back

 

is that gen2 jdm da guy ill in the mind or slow cause what in the hell makes him think im giong to go to cali to fix my DA lol thanks tho guys got it all figured out
