Icon2 Forged Pistons?!

Okay, So i have this buddy.. And no he's not trying to mess with me... But he swears up and down that suzuki made this vehicle that had all forged internals (Pistons, Rods) And they fit in a D Series motor. Has anyone ever heard of this? I've searched and can't find it anywere.. I'm prolly going to call suzuki and ask as well. Because if he's telling the truth which he says he is and i've actually heard it from another person then the whole set of pistons and rods are only like 300 bucks. Pretty good deal for forged internals if you ask me. Anyways has anyone heard of this? Or is this just False?

its the vitara, and its true. Look at my sig, i did a build using them. Some people have hit 400whp with them. You can get them in a combo, eagle rods/vitara (with rebuild kit) off ebay and others for 800 and below

Yeah actually dude, I almost have all the peices for mine. When i get my tax return should be in like 5 days im ordering the rest... The only dif is i'm using a 14b turbo instead of a t3/t4. Did you ever run that thing at the track? Or get it dynoed?

We ran at the track once with a bad tranny but it would never hit 2nd and we broke a axle! haha. But i've changed that out since and its been great. You should opt for a t3/t4 14b's are water cooled also which is just more lines to runs and a ton of other turbos go off the t3 flange. After we get some injectors were dyno'ing and turning up boost. I expect to see at least 300hp, i dont know the wieght diff right off but the sol would probably be a couple 100 pounds heavier.

Yeah, And your right a t3/t4 would be better but i got the 14b for 100 bucks along with a o2 housing, And i already have the manifold with the flange welded on. Besides the only cheap t3/t4's are on ebay and i'm not messing with that stuff.
