Default Pistons for Accord

need to rebuild my bottom end but cant fine pistons. i have a t3/t4 setup was at 9lbs till a lot a ring,so now i need to build the bottom end. i wanna run about 37 or so lbs so i want a strong bottom end, i have a fully built top end and I also have a 97' Honda Accord Lx with a stock engine. You know what? I drove(hard). I left the shafts on place. But when I yank the motor out to redo my brake lines I will have my welder make me some plugs.

What the F#@k are you talking about? Are you currently under the influence of a controlled substance or drunk?

Anywho,

37lbs may be a bit of a stretch for stock sleeves. Your probably going to need to sleeve the block with a set of closed deck sleeves.

If your looking for pistons and rods they can be found on pretty much every parts website that sells aftermarket Honda parts. Wiseco, Arias, CP, Crower, Carrillo all make parts for the F22. Have you even tried to look for yourself?

Ok seriously almost this whole post makes no sense. Im starting to think im on drugs after reading that... anyway yes they do make pistons for the F22. Not to mention custom pistons can be made by most manufacturers as well.

And 37 lbs. of boost? Where did that number come from? That amount of air pressure should be going in your tires, NOT your engine!

Anyway I gotta get goin- Ive got some brake lines to replace, so i gotta go pull my motor...

Started off somewhat understandable... finished up with FAIL.

Try running this by us agian, maybe we can piece together some more of what your trying to say.

As said above though, try searching piston manufacturers sites... many of them make f22 pistons or can make you some if you wanted to do something to a certain spec not listed.

All he is asking for a lil help, no need to attack

.....just my opinion

do you need a computer for that? i understand that there are certain kits you dont have to tune the kits, direct-bolt ons.

well my car comes from the factory turbocharged, so can run about 13 psi without tuning, but when turning up the boost then I would have to use a standalone or piggyback

but you also have to worry about more fueling and other stuff:

upgraded fuel pump
larger injectors
head bolts
lowering compression
forged internals, etc.

But accords don't ever come factory turbo, so you will have to tune more than likely

Ok, where did that come from?

The wastegate regulates the amount of boost being created by opening its valve and bypasses exhaust flow, when the given boost pressure signal is obtained.
Having a wastegate closed would just shove boost threw without being regulated.

You are asking questions that have all been answered a million times in the F/I forum.

Dont act like you know what you talking about.
Ok, what is the Billet 62 turbo you are refering to? What does the 62 mean? I wanna know your answer, to see if you even know what your talking about.

You said you had a t3/4 already on your car, now your asking about a turbo kit.

Yes they make turbo kits. IT WILL STILL NEED TO BE TUNED THOUGH!!!!!
You have a "built" top end but are running on the stock maps? With out any kind of piggy-back or stand alone?

This is why you make NO sense, you contradict yourself several times in this thread.

Buy or borrow a book (or two or three...) on the subject. Seriously, you'll learn more than on an internet forum where to sift the wheat from the chaff you really need to understand the fundamentals already.

Ya like the first few posts stated, can you better explain your situation. You need new pistons, but then I lost you. Do plenty of reading in the FI FAQ's. Lots of good reading there. Hopefully money is not an issue for you b/c a rebuild is not cheap and idk if you have, or should even try, the means to do this yourself. I know a lot of boosted 5th gens have used Wiseco, but most other companies will probably get you what you need too. As for kits, even if they say bolt on, they are not. Most do not include fueling upgrades and some other parts because there are a lot of options for it and the companies don't want to include something you would change out. And they all need to be tuned for fueling, timing, ignition, etc. Pick a reputable tuner and he will set you straight...for a slight fee haha. 37psi...that's a lot of boost.

Lol, "slight" fee. anywhere from 60 - more than a hundred an hour. depending on where you live and who you goto.

Something that you gotta do though.

62 reffers to the compressor wheel.
