Default piston/rod combo

been out the game for a while but i cant stay away too long. i have a y7 block y8 head mini me and i was wondering what rods would help bring up the compression of ome vitara pistons. id like for my compression to be someone around 9.1:1. any help picking out some rods since a turbo setup is only as good as its weakest component (rods on the y7 block) would be greatly appreciated.thanks.

Other than getting different rods, you could also deck the head and block. That should give you a little more static compression. If you find a compression calculator and type in all your measurements, you can see how much you'd need to deck those surfaces to get the compression you desire...
