OBD2 swap into OBD1 car....
I have an OBD2 Ls swap out of a 97 integra. My question is I know the harness plugs into the shock towers like an OBD1 car. What problems would there be with sticking this swap into an OBD1 car?
Injectors, alternator, and dizzy would have to be swapped onto the obd2 engine from the obd1.
Can't think off the top of my head if there was anything else, should just be that.

^^^thats what i was thinking? Because everything, including the harness, should plug into the shock tower plugs. But im sure there are electronic differences at the ecu itself. Unless, the OBD2 ECU will not plug into the OBD1 car harness...hhmmmmm
It seems to be easier to find OBD1 shells then a 96-99 integra shell. So if I purchase either an EG shell or DC shell, OBD1, then these should theoretically plug into the shock tower harnesses. Then my question is what are the plug differences at the ECU? And if I found an OBD1 LS ECU would it run this set up without swapping any pins? I already have the swap, so im just trying to find out what would be the cheapest route to find a shell to out the motor in.

I have done this with a '99 ls swap (all OBD2 items still in place) into a '95 Civic CX with absolutely no cells. Obviously you just need to use the proper OBD1 ecu, and wire in VTEC if you are using a VTEC engine. You will have a few sensors that will now have no function, but since you are using an OBD1 ecu it won't matter, and again you won't get any cells. Good luck!
