Default Should I even bother? Follow up to a tire thread. Need opinions...

I recently posted this thread expressing my disappointment with the Toyo TIS tires I purchased. Now its 100 miles later and they still don't act like the stock RE 010's. It just so happens that Toyo has a 500 mile money back guarantee. Just found that out today. I went to the STS Tire center where I got them and the manager just about passed out. He can't believe I want to get the money back for these. I told him how ustable the sidewalls were upon cornering and how I had to bump up the psi to 40/38 just to make them feel ok. He begrudging agreed to take the tires back. But now I have to order new tires to replace them with and bring them to him. I decided that I need something with a real stiff sidewall, aka bridgestone potenza s03 - 205-50-15. Is this worth my wild? I've seen some really good coments about these, but are they going to feel more like the stock tires or the Toyos? Is the bigger tire size going to decreased the rigidity? It's basically gonna cost me for another mount and balance, and another $50 to get the s03's. Worth it or not? The cornering stability is the most important issue here. Thanks...........

205/50/15 is always pretty much the same as 195/55 size.

You will feel the road a lot better with 205/50 than 195/55... but, at the same time compromise a bit of comfort (very, very slightly... my butt knows the difference, but your might not.)

Also, if you're spending that much $, look into BF Goodridge g-force KD tires.

Yeah i noticed these toyo's are much softer, therefore the car feels more floaty than bumpy like the stockers were. And in the turns, it just doesn't have the precision turn in that the re010's had. Not even close. Will the s03's be much better?

KD`s are nice, very nice. "Jeffs" hates to hear this, but findout when the kumho ecsta mx`s will be available. Worth a shot for the price ($84). They were right up there w/ the kd`s in dry and wet conditions. I`m rocking the Parada Spec II`s right now..pretty decent, but nowhere near the KD`s.

Btw, if any of you buy Toyos drop me a line. I have a couple $50 rebate coupons I`ll never use
