Bored huh? lol, You'd need to plug the VTEC oil hole on the B16 block and use an LS gasket. AS far as other mods? I dont know that theres much more to it, except proper tuning afterwards for the absents in VTEC, cam timing, etc.

edit: Now you might have to use a B16 gasket, really not sure.

You'll probably have to reposistion the alignment dowels too, much like the steps in doing an LS VTEC but reversed. IMO, it might end up being more trouble then its worth for the power.

Does he have money for tuning? The AFR's will more than surely be off with any stock ecu you use, so a tune will be needed to make it run half decently or reliably.

You could probably sell the b16 bottom for enough to buy a whole ls longblock in decent shape. It would be a lot less trouble, not to mention more powerful without tuning headaches.

I have a LS for $375 whole long block if needed. And it is possible, a honda technician and myself did it with old crap laying around. It only ran for a few days, which was fine due to it being the SLOWEST motor I have ever driven. It was such a waste of my time and his money. It's compression only ends up being like 9.5:1, so even less torque than the already wimpy B16.
