ok wierd question , has anyone attempted this before???
ok well i know in my area there are quite a few b16 blocks for sale along with LS heads .... so what i was thinking ....LS head on a B16 block , logical idea??? say for someone on a budget or the fact i could get the parts fairly easy and cheap.
please i dont feel like being flammed for asking this , its just been bugging me for awihle so i was curious, and the reason i ask this is cause i know the B16 bore/stroke is near perfect so it would make for a great high reving bottom end but theres no vtec with the LS head (Duh) lol, so i dont know if it would make sense, but what if i were to put some good cams in there that would almost eliminate the point of having the vtec change over, then would it be a good idea???

I dunno...ls/vtec's are so good because the B16 head flows so much better than the LS...
The LS head doesnt flow very well but the B16 bottom end like you said is near perfect...I know a guy making good #'s with a B16 bottom end and a type r head...but thats about it...I think a B16 bottom end and a LS head would run slower than a stock B16 in my opinion
