JDM C1 into USDM G3
I have a 1997 GSR that i just purchaced a JDM B18C for. I have got it in the car and everything when I said, "Self, the wireing harness is on the opposite side on the JDM engines because of the wacky Japs and their tendency to drive on the left side." The only problem i have is that these harnesses as you all know are held in my those plastic zip ties from hell and getting them to the other side of the engine without cutting or damageing my harness is a daunting task.
Would you recommend takeing the engine out and then cutting the zip ties or is there some easy way to put my JDM engine into my USDM bay?

you need to change a few things for it to work with your USDM ecu. the oil pump has to be changed and the CPS from your old motor installed on the JDM motor. the sprocket also changes, the vtec and dizzy also need to be changed out.
got myself a full swap from HMO. came with ecu and eveything.

ask steve what you have to do to run the jdm ecu. i could have swore a couple wires on the usdm harness have to be changed. the cps is in the dizzy on the jdm stuff so i'm guessing that you have to run your cps wires somewhere up there.
