ok will an obd2 distributor work on an od1-0
engine?

 

it will work with obd1 but not obd0. plus it depends what engine the thing came from, cause it may not even bolt up to the head properly. and when i say work i mean you would still have to change the dizzy plugs from obd2 to obd1.

ok so heres the situation


i have an ef with a d15z1 but i need a dizzy for it.

with and OBD2 sohc vtec distributor work for it?

 

if it physically bolts to the head then yes. but you would have to depin the plugs and change the obd2 connections to obd1. thats assuming you are running the z1 with the correct obd1 ecu. if you still have an obd0 ecu then no that wont work.

 

you can make it work but i think one leg wont bolt up....i think the obd1/2 plugs are the same...hopefully someone chimes in and comfirms...
