I did a search, but there was no topic that answerd my questions.

A friend of mine got a EDM EG6, powerd by a B16A2. The only mod he did are cams of the JDM EK9. Now he would like to change the ecu and got the opportunity to buy a ecu of a EK9. The Problem is, his B16A2 has ODB1 and the ecu requires ODB2.

Any suggestions, how he could make this work? Are there any conversions?

yes a harness converter from OBDII plugs to OBDI, since JDM EK9 use OBDI programming it should run like a champ.

make sure before buying to get the right type as there are two types of OBDII harnesses.

 

And do you know who sells harness converters? Where can i order this?
