hey everyone im new to this site and ive just recently bought a teg. its a 97 teggy ls yea its automatic hey it was cheap and its very reliable so far and great on gas. what i want to do is either swap another ls motor and tranny or just rebuild what i have is has about 145,000 miles on it ive had it for a couple months i want to work on suspension and everything like that but first i wanted to know what you guys think i should do. a rebuild or just buying another motor. and if i do buy another motor what should i replace on it i wanna semi build it cuz its going to be my daily driver..thats alot right there ha if i could get some pointers and some helo that would be verayyy niiiiice

 

welcome, im also a new member but been reading on hondatech for a few years now. there is plenty of information on this site by just using the search feature. just type in swap and brace yourself ...i myself have been around hondas since my teen years and have done about 6 swaps by myself.so ill start by asking you a few questions...first are you dead set on automatic? because the biggest improvement you can do even if you is a 5speed swap.
