Default 90 integra gs b16 i need some help please!!!!!

b16 in 90 integra gs.. No vtec!! Checked and double checked wiring.. Motor was in a 91 civic hatch about a month ago (civic shell is for sale 500 bucks minnesota no rust!!!) Everything worked fine in that... It also doesnt start good. The pump pumps good but only fires, I have to try like 5 times before it stayes running.. When its running it idles at 1500 rpms and slowly creeps up to about 2000 rpms. I already tried messing with the vacuum lines im sure those are right. I adjusted the idle screw too. Im getting very frustrated someone please give me some direction please please please i just want everything to work right!!!!!

pretty sure its a pr3 obd0 ecu and yes i ran the vtec pressure switch the vtec solenoid and the knock sensor i swapped out the 4-2-1 exaust manifold for a 4-1 manifold off the gs motor so all i did was splice the second o2 sensor to the existing o2 wire

Things to check
1.Have you checked your oil?
2.Is your speedometer working? (vtec wont work under 5mph so if your speedometer isnt working, that could be it..
3. Have you checked the vtec solenoid the screen inside can be blocked causing it not to get oil...

The sporadic idle may be the ivac check that..
Let us know if these things check out ok

the only thing out of those i havent checked is the screen inside the vtec solenoid but if it worked in my old car just fine shouldnt it work in this one? and the ivac is on the intake right?

when i wired it backwards it didnt hurt anything i just didnt have vtec. the tranny ground is ok but i ran it right underneath the vtec solenoid theres a small screw that holds down the harness there.

someone i work with told me that it could all be my coolant temp sensor thats making it all do this (which ever one turns my fan on) because that doesnt work either. He said that if that doesnt work that it would make my ecu run in a open loop causing it to make it run like its cold all the time??? Any suggestions on that?
