Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum and to Acura. I picked up a 94 Integra and im trying to figure out couple of things. So far, from what i researched i figured out that it has a GSR B18C1 block, B16 head (stamped 89), and 2000 civic intake manifold. So here is my problem... the guy that i bought it from had it wired up by ls engine harness and i just bought a gsr harness and in process of wiring it up but i have couple of extra plugs from the harness which i have no clue where it plugs in to. Is this a right set up(block, head, manifold)? any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks ahead.

Your setup works together fine, in fact if you put different pistons and cams in you could have a "poor mans type-r". Did you make sure all the sensor on the block, head, and manifold are plugged in? If you did then you should be good, if anything you will get a CEL and it will tell you what sensor is missing.

 

the gsr harness might have a couple of extra plugs such as the IAB that you won't use. but other then that your should be fine

 

what is a CEL?

 

check engine light.

 

that's exactly what I'm trying to figure out. do you know what are the Other plugs that I don't plug in and if I don't plug it in is tht going to give me check engine light? Thanks.

 

if you have any questions on any plugs it will help us alot if you had a picture of the plug and the wire colors
